Chocolate Bits Cheese Cake |

Instructions Mix all of the base ingredients into a bowl using a fork and breaking up the margarine until the mixture is crumbly. Squeeze with fingers and hands until a ball starts to form ( the dough will seem dry ). Do this until one ball is formed. Knead on a counter top until smooth. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until 1/2 cm. thick ( 1/4 inch ). Place into an ungreased cake pan. Arrange so that just the bottom of the cake pan is covered to all sides and corners using fingers to press the dough around. Bake at 160 C ( 320 F ) until golden brown. Let cool while making cheese cream filling. For the filling; Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form. In a separate bowl mix the rest of the cheese cream ingredients together. Gently fold the egg whites into the cheese mixture. Pour on top of the base evenly. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving. NOTES; Top with chocolate curls or syrup. To substitute Israeli white cheese, use 2 tubs of low fat softened cream cheese adding a little milk to get a thick pudding consistency. |
